We are in an expansive phase and are now looking for a Test Engineer for our hardware products within lighting-, building-, and industrial automation. We are looking for you with a genuine interest in technology and a broad experience of measuring- and testing tools and methods within electronics and hardware. In this role you will have the overall responsibility for the test stations for both circuit test fixtures and for end product functional testing.

You will work closely with our contract manufacturers, and make sure everything is up and running and works smoothly. We have a couple of test stations in-house and the rest of the test stations are out-sourced to subcontractors. Since you will have a counseling position to support our remote test stations it is important that you have an analytical and problem solving interest, and thrive in a coordinating role with a lot of different contact areas, both internally and externally.

You will be part of the Supply Chain team but still have a lot of contact with R&D where you have the opportunity to develop your skills within both hardware- and software development.

LumenRadio is on a mission to replace all the cables in the world and we want you with us! Our biggest asset and strength are our people and culture. We are a learning organization where we mix junior and senior colleagues. We have a culture where we work without prestige as a team and always help each other. We are also an in house company that has a nice mix of people in everything from production and electronics to marketing and sales. We have almost the whole development- and production cycle in-house except for some parts of the production. This type of broad integration gives our colleagues a better ability to prioritize the entire value chain and creates tight development cycles.

Your future

  • Overall responsibility for the test stations for both circuit test fixtures and for end product functional testing
  • Together with our R&D team and the supplier of the test stations you will participate in designing and implementing new test stations
  • Lead problem solving for the outsourced production and monitor the yield of the tests
  • Work together with other passionated colleagues within electronics in our own production and R&D team
  • Coordination and administration
  • Work with our production of final assembly and testing in house, complemented with a larger scale outsourced production of modules and box builds with suppliers in Europe
  • Be responsible for the storing and version control of testing software as well as for the system for storing and analyzing test results
  • Lead the work of taking our test stations to the next level of production through proper documentation, atomization and preventive maintenance routines

About you

  • Education in Mechatronics, Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience
  • A genuine interest and experience within electronics
  • Experience in measuring tests, used to analyze specifications and read PCB schematics
  • Experience from electrical engineering, test station hardware design, electronic manufacturing or equivalent
  • Experience of in-circuit testing, bed-of-nails testing, including troubleshooting, diagnosing, testing and resolving system problems and issue
  • We believe you have a flexible mindset, have an analytical ability and like to solve technical problems
  • Efficient communicator since you will have a lot of different contact areas, both internally and externally
  • Fluent in English and Swedish, written and spoken

It is a plus if

  • You have experience in designing and building test environments, electrical production, and measuring equipment
  • You have knowledge / experience of Python, LabView, C/ C++ or other relevant software
  • We also hope you have experience in improvement techniques such as Six Sigma or Lean
